Coming off a successful one year anniversary celebration, Ole Lounge brings a new twist to the usual mundane Wednesday affairs. On May 14th, Viva Wednesdays marks the beginning of a new concept of lounge culture. Driven by Ole's friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ole has been able to maintain a strong following of happy patrons. Viva Wednesdays is proud to introduces a new online campaign focused on giving a variety of complimentary services to the ladies of Chicago. Beauty and the Bottle (www.beautyandthebottle.com) is what every woman really really wants. Adding some extra spice to Ole's already stellar weekly line-up, Viva Wednesdays are looking to provide a fun atmosphere in a cozy living room setting.
Lakeview hot-spot, Ole Lounge, offers revelers a 3,000 sq. ft. bi-level experience. Lined with rich birch wood ceilings and two-toned black walls throughout, sparked with warm bronze and orange accents. The furnishing that allows the guest to choose between loungy ottoman seating or cocktail tables. The ultra private "velvet room" located downstairs is perfect for intimate gatherings.
Viva Wednesdays will be featuring Beauty & the Bottle, an online service offering today's empowered women complimentary services & products...& it's starting in Chicago. This spring B&B is offering complimentary admission & champagne at some of the city's most fun & sexy events, restaurants, nightclubs, & lounges. Currently Beauty & the Bottle is featured weekly at Industry Tuesdays at Lumen (West loop) and Strings on the Water, every Thursday from 5-11pm at Flatwater (River North). The reservation process is quite simple. After entering the website, women will see a listing of all days and locations were Beauty & the Bottle are featured. After making a choice of which event, they must then make a reservation for them and their girlfriends (6 total). After registering, the reservation will be confirmed by the location's Beauty & the Bottle Host. On arrival, contact the host to enjoy your complimentary services.
The sounds are provided by Chicago's most requested DJ, Shawn Edwards. With over 11 years of experience, Shawn has has played at some of Chicago's premiere nightclubs including; Crobar, Level, Mannequin, Stone Lotus, Redno5, and Moda. He has also been on national tours with Pepsi Smash and VH1 Save The Music, opening up for some of today's biggest concert acts. Shawn Edwards is also no stranger to the national scene, having to played at Jet nightclub in Las Vegas, The Union Bar in Iowa City, Pure Nightclub in Detroit with the list continuing to grow. Shawn Edwards will be playing a sonic mishmash of the old and the new. The best of 80's rock, electro, and hip-hop.
While enjoying the music, guests can also enjoy Ole's delectable Tapas menu available till 11pm. Like the Pan Con Tomate y Jamon Serrano, which is grilled tomato bread with manchengo cheese and Spanish Smoked Ham Rosettes ($4), or the Paella Con Mariscos, a South American classic...Paella with shrimp, mussels, chicken, sausage, and olives ($14).
